marriage up to the next level.

2) Gain he ability to see more deeply and honestly into the
real
issues and the motivation to face them head on.

3) Learn how much more fun it is to commit to each other, that just to "the marriage."

4)
See your marriage as a fun and exhilarating pathway to the spiritual treasures you seek.

5) Experience the joy of being able to see each other more through the eyes of love, than the eyes of hurt.

Let's get you on track to the kind of relationship you really want!!

Chapter overview:

1) I give love, vs. trying to get it (an invitation to live in door #1)
*Showing up as a Giver *Making everything a gift *Speaking for yourself

2)
I focus on healing the real wounds, vs. blaming you for my disappointments, heartache, frustration or pain.
*Putting down the duct tape and going after the smoke alarm *Figuring out where it really hurts *Balance vs. duct taping *The Mice on the Grid and what it means to YOU *The Chapter 2 primary Skills: a) Assessment b) Blame to Pain c) To the right source.

3) I show up as my real and best self rather than testing your love.
(a precursor to "uncrossing the keys.")

4) I unconditionally love and cherish you for who you are (hidden and seen)-- grateful for what you show me— excited and encouraging for things to come.

5) I will turn the specific keys of healing you have given me.

*Understanding the Law of
Opportunity and the Law of "Cross Keys."  (How your spouse is JUST what the Doctor ordered.)

6)
I create dignity, respect and love by honoring the rules of communication we have agreed on.
*I Make Appointments for "ER" sessions vs. hits from the side.
*I honor the guidelines of our "Express and Request" meetings.
*I take time out when I need it and provide you with a written description of how that looks.

7)
I honor the resources we have agreed on and am diligent, steady and true in holding to them i.e.
*Read 1 chapter of “Relationship Rescue” by Dr. Phil each week, followed by dinner and movie.
*Attend one couples seminar once a year.
*etc.
